Priliminary Study
In this task, the overall system configuration is defined, and schematics, diagrams, and
layouts of the project provide early project configuration.
Inspection/Supervison
Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the
required qualities. Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and
workmanship in the project work.
Value Eng.
(VE) is a systematic method for improving the “value” of services by using an examination of
function. Value, as defined, is the ratio of function to cost. Value can therefore be
increased by either improving the function or reducing the cost.
